Lorelai



I još malo mermera, za promenu :). DIY Céline ogrlicu već znate, ali ko bi rekao da 90s streč majica sa Najlona može imati prizvuk Balenciage? Stare, prepravljene XXL muške pantalone istog porekla, plus čizmice od neoprena, za preko potrebnu dozu (retro)futurizma!

And (what a surprise!) a bit more of marble. Let's start with this DIY Céline marble necklace, no introduction necessary. Who would have thought that this 90s trashy crop top I thrifted from Nylon flea market could channel Balenciaga Fall 2013 so well? Speaking of Nylon thrift whoring - those XXL trousers I edited and neoprene booties are here for the oh-so-needed dose of (retro)futurism!

Plastic Panorama

Niko ne peva o letu kao severnjaci. Osunčani snovi za duge polarne noći, slani vetrovi za balearic pop simfonije iz Skandinavije. Plastična panorama 80s filma i lagana letnja romansa. Baš kao da su iz Majamija, a ne Stokholma. Sad malo do Norveške. Dragi Erlend umesto zaštitnog faktora nabacio je italijanski, i potpuno mu verujem kada tvrdi - la vita e bella! Veliku skandinavsku (letnju) turu završavam u Finskoj, odakle stiže Aloha Helsinki prsten. Prošli put Lagami haljiinu nosila sam kako treba, a evo i verzije koja nije predviđena uputstvom za upotrebu :) Kako vam se više dopada?

No one can sing about summer as Scandinavians do. Sunbathed dreams for long winter nights, salty winds for Balearic pop symphonies from up North. Plastic panorama and easy summer romance. As if they were from Miami, not Stockholm. Hop on, we're moving to Norway! Using Italian instead of sunscreen works perfectly fine for our dear Erlend and I totally believe him when he says - la vita e bella! We will end this Scandinavian summer tour in Finland, where this Aloha Helsinki bar ring came from. Last time I wore this Lagami dress properly, here's what happens when you throw away the instruction manual :) Which way do you like it better?

Što se mene tiče, Nick Cave je spasio ovogodišnji Exit. Možda to nije bila ona svirka od pre koju godinu, kada je Cave, sa sve bronhitisom, prvo odsvirao planirano, pa onda redom ispunjavao želje & pozdrave iz publike (i tako puna 2h45min)...ali je bilo F-E-N-O-M-E-N-A-L-N-O! Red muževne bluz pržnjave, pa red balada za devojčice - stari oprobani recept, pogotovo kada više vremena provedete pevajući u publici, nego na sceni. Čula sam Mermaids, a zamalo i The Ship Song, sad ni ne moram na more :) 

Ipak, ove nedelje se sunčamo u Rijeci, a ova Lagami haljina sigurno ide u kofer! Aloha Helsinki ogrlicu i neopren čizmice ste već upoznali...

If you ask me, it was Nick Cave who salvaged Exit festival this year. Even though nothing can really top that gig from couple of years ago, when Cave ignored both his bronchitis and the setlist and played all the wishes from the first rows (doing that for almost three hours!)...last night was truly A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! When you know how to balance testosterone-charged bluesy riffs and beautiful ballads, especially if you're spending more time singing from the audience than on the stage - there isn't much that can go wrong. We got to hear Mermaids and (almost) The Ship Song, now I don't have to go to the seaside :)

Well, anyway, we'll be catching some tan this week in Rijeka, and I'm totally packing this Lagami dress! You've already met Aloha Helsinki statement necklace and Weekday neoprene booties...

Fresh


Nisam ljubitelj vidite-šta-sam-kupila-u-Zari postova, ali mislim da su ove neopren lepojke potpuno zasluženo ovde. Ljubav na prvi pogled, i to ne iz Zare, već omiljenog Weekday-a. Ne priznajem ja onu staru kinesku 'Mora se trpeti zbog lepote' - ove su i lepe i udobne!  Inače, ovaj put sam - što na Mauerparku, što u Weekday-u - pazarila toliko neoprena, da mi samo ronilačka maska fali da spremno dočekam globalno otopljavanje, biblijski potop ili neki drugi film Rolanda Emmericha. 

Po povratku iz Berlina, Kristina je za mene pripremila iznenađenje sa dalekog Severa. Nemanja kaže Aloha Helsinki iz daleke Finske, a ja jedva čekam da nosim statement ogrlicu i minimalistički prsten!

Not that I'm a fan of look-what-I-bought-in-Zara kind of posts, but in my book these neoprene beauties surely deserve a solo act. Love at first sight, a love story from my beloved Weekday (not Zara :) Don't tell me that you have to suffer for beauty when you have something this beautiful and comfortable! I must admit that my neoprene obsession got out of hands a bit - last time in Berlin I bought so much neoprene that now I only need a diving mask to be fully prepared for glaciers melting, biblical flood or some other Roland Emmerich movie.

When I came back, Kristina had a nice surprise from far North. Nemanja says Aloha Helsinki from Finland, and I can't wait to wear this statement necklace and minimalist ring.
