Ja u stvari ne volim pastele. There, I said it.
Naravno, detinjasto je izjavljivati kako u potpunosti isključujete celu grupu boja, ali pasteli zaista teško nađu put do mog ormana. Osim toga, nekako se nikad nisam dobro osećala u njima. No, svi znamo da je najmudrija modna izreka 'Nikad ne reci nikad', pa ni ja neću. Uvek čujete kako je bitno ostati svoj i ne slediti trendove - i ja se u potpunosti slažem - ali meni lično upravo te promene u modi, koliko god mi se na prvi pogled ne činile prijemčivim, predstavljaju izazov. Lepo, uzmete i zadate sebi da uklopite nešto što inače ne biste, i onda mu, onako by the way, dodate i taj famozni lični pečat.
Tako ću i ja sa pastelima, treba neprijatelju pogledati pravo u oči. Zajedno sa vama ću, u narednih par (terapijskih) postova, pokušati da zavolim pastele. Ili makar uspostavim neko primirje. Uostalom, kako i biti u zavadi sa bojom slatkiša?:)

Actually, I don't like pastels. There, I said it.
Of course, it's childish to exclude the whole group of colors, but pastels do rarely find a way to my closet. Except for that, I've never felt really comfortable wearing them. 'Never say never' is a fashion's wisest saying and I will not either. You will always hear how the most important thing about fashion is not to follow trends blindly - and I drink to that - but for me, the volatile and changeable nature of fashion is exactly the challenge that makes it so appealing. Even if something doesn't seem like a your cup of tea on the very start, just take it, play with it and you'll (probably) be pleasantly surprised with a result - trendy and new, yet with a oh-so-important personal touch.
That's exactly what am I going to do with pastels, you should look your enemy straight in the eyes. You will help me to try to love pastels in couple of the upcoming posts. Or at least make a truce with them. Is there truly a way to fight a color most sweets come in?:)
