Peacocks-a), nego je ovako bilo najlakše sročiti suštinu drugog dela moje S/S 2012
wish list-e. Dakle, ne oklevajte, okitite se (tuđim) perjem! // Dear goldfish, this time I want a peacock! It's not a mistake, but it was the only way to put the essence of my S/S 2012
wish list into few words. So, don't hesitate, wrap yourself in (peacock's) feathers!
Električno plava, prisutna već nekoliko sezona, očigledan je izbor, ali uzmite u obzir i tirkiz plavu, kao i morsko zelenu. Naravno, neutralna osnova u
nude nijansama i zlatni detalji daće decentnost celoj kombinaciji. // Of course, the obvious choice is electric blue, which has been present on runways for couple of seasons now, but don't forget turquoise and sea green. Neutral base in nude shades combined with gold details will give the whole look a dash of understated elegance.

Gucci kolekciji i njenim
art deco uticajima a ja opet kažem - paun. Frida Giannini zaista jeste pozajmljivala iz
art deco stila, koji vodi poreklo od
art nouveau-a, eklektičnog pravca koji se ugledao na prirodu, njene boje i oblike. I tako, nekako opet stižemo do pauna. Svidja mi se što su Frida i njeni dizajneri od ove ptice preuzeli ne samo njene boje, već i složenu strukturu njenog perja. // Probably one of the most buzzed about collection of S/S 2012 season is
Gucci. The praised Frida Giannini's collection might have been influenced by
art deco, but that style evolved from
art nouveau, an eclectic style heavily inspired by nature, by its colors and shapes. So, there we are again, at - peacocks! Kudos for Frida & co. not being inspired only by peacock's shades, but also by complex, yet stunning structure of this bird's feathers.

Imun nije ostao ni gospodar printova -
Dries Van Noten, koji je sa paunovog repa preuzeo senf žutu (inače neizbežnu za S/S 2012 sezonu) i morsko zelenu. // Even the master of prints -
Dries Van Noten - couldn't resist the peacock trend, borrowing mustard yellow (which, I guess, no one could resist this season) and sea green from its tale.
Ja sam ustvari samo jako srećna što su dizajneri ove sezone obratili toliko pažnje na moju omiljenu boju. Upravo tu nedefinisano-plavu-il-zelenu sa perja gorepomenute ptice. Moj štender ionako liči na pauna, što zbog preovlađujućih nijansi, što zbog hvalisave pretpanosti. // I'm really happy because designers (ab)used my favorite color so much this season. Yes, that nor-turquoise-nor-green-borrowed-from-peacock shade exactly. My clothing rack looks like one anyway. Both for prevailing colors and flashy (over)abundance.
Druga boja zbog koje sam jako srećna ove sezone je definitivno ciklama, u kombinaciji sa ljubičastom, ili zlatnom, pogotovo na brokatnim materijalima koji vrište - luksuz. // The other color I'm so happy about is fuchsia, especially when combined with violet or gold, on brocade materials that scream luxury.
Hussein Chalayan nije se poigravao samo printovima, dokazao je da ume da bude zanimljiv i u monohromatskim okvirima, baš kao i Nicola Formichetti za
Thierry Mugler i kuća
Gianfranco Ferre. //
Hussein Chalayan has proven not only to be the master of prints, up to Mr. Van Noten, but also a master of form, when confronted with a monochromatic frame.
Nešto strožiju geometriju odabrao je Karl Lagerfeld za svoju novu Chanel kolekciju. Ne moram ni da ističem koliko sve to dobro izgleda uz ženstvene
Chanel trademark bisere. // Also staying in the geometry folder, though a bit on the strict side (not unexpectedly!) was Karl Lagerfeld for his latest
Chanel collection. I don't have to point out how good it all looks combined with the trademark
Chanel pearls.
Ipak, ako me pitate za bisernu ogrlicu, ja glasam za ovog over-the-top/oversize/overanything Castebajac-a. // But, if you ask me about pearls, I will always reply Castelbajac. Over-the-top/oversize/overanything, as usual.
A kad smo već kod slatkih detalja, mnogo sam se zaljubila u ovu Emporio Armani kragnicu! Eto materijala za DIY razmišljanja... // Talking of cute details, I fell in love with this Emporio Armani collar-necklace! A potential DIY inspiration?
Trend prozirnih materijala se nastavlja, možda je najdalje otišao Gaultier, mešajući ih sa fake tattoo printovima. // Sheer materials trend is continued, with Gaultier and his mix with fake tattoo prints probably lifting the bar for the rest.
S obzirom da je g-din Martin Margiela i zvanično prešao u enterijerske vode, bilo je očigledno da će modna kuća, koja i dalje nosi njegovo ime, a u vlasništvu je Diesel grupacije, ovako odgovoriti. Pun intended. // Considering recent Mr. Margiela's transfer to the field of interior design, collection using rugs as inspiration(very literally) from his Maison, was probably expected. Pun intended.
A kad smo već u Antwerp Six folderu, moram spomenuti i Ann Demeulemeester, koja ovaj put svoj prepoznatljivi monohromatski layering postiže upotrebom resica! // Being in the Antwerp Six folder already, it would be unfair not to mention Ann Demeulemeester whose trademark layering this time is enhanced by fringes!
Sigurna sam da Sarah Burton radi svaku kolekciju pod velikim pritiskom, jer zna koliku je prazninu za sobom ostavio Alexander McQueen, ali ja bih rekla da ona sasvim komotno hoda u njegovim cipelama. // Sure that Sarah Burton was under a lot of pressure knowing what giant shoes she has to fill in, but I would say she walks in Alexander McQueen's shoes quite comfortably.
Za kraj, nezaobilazni komadi svake sezone - sako i prsluk, u novim interpretacijama! // I'll end this wish list with two unavoidable pieces for this (and every other) season - a classical jacket and a vest in new interpretations!
