Veliki je pritisak raditi za veliko ime. Morate u obzir uzeti istoriju, ali i doneti nešto novo, svoje. Nedavno smo svi skinuli kapu Raf Simonsovoj pročišćenoj viziji Diora, ali kada neko kaže uspešan brak dizajnera i dizajnerske kuće, prvo ime koje mi pada na pamet sigurno je - Karl Lagerfeld. I taman kada pomislimo da je nemoguće i dalje inovativno se poigravati sa klasičnim Chanel elementima, poput niske bisera i prepoznatljivog žaketa, Karl je tu da nas iznenadi i ubedi u suprotno! Za ovo proleće/leto inspirisao se šumom mora i posuo bisere svuda po svojim Chanel sirenama! 

Nisam baš Chanel sirena, ali čim sam videla, znala sam da moram da probam. Lepo rastavite bisernu narukvicu/ogrlicu, jednu od onih koje vam i ovako skupljaju prašinu, a onda sve to pažljivo prilepite na sebe lateks lepkom za trepavice. Nadam se da vam se dopada moj najnoviji DIY poduhvat!

It's never been easy working for the big ones. Of course, you have to take history into account, but also bring something fresh and new. Not so long ago we have all made a bow in front of Raf Simons' purified vision of Dior, but when someone mentions a happy marriage between designer and a brand, the first name that comes into my mind is definitely - Karl Lagerfeld. And just when we all thought it's impossible to do anything else creative with those classic Chanel elements, such as pearls and signature jackets, Karl is there to prove us wrong, from season to season, from collection to collection. For this spring/summer, he sought inspiration from blue depths of the sea and scattered pearls all over his Chanel mermaids!

Not that I'm a Chanel siren, but as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to try. All you need is an old pearl necklace/bracelet and a bit of latex glue for eyelashes. Hope you like my newest DIYventure!

Uplašila sam se pre koju nedelju da ću morati tako, ispočetka. Bez prethodne najave i pripreme, blog mi je samo nestao. Nisam započela iz nekih ozbiljnih namera, samo sam imala potrebu da ono čime se bavim iz hobija na neki način zabeležim, više za sebe. Iako veza između Bloggera i mene traje tek nekoliko meseci i nije započela ozbiljno, shvatila sam koliko volim sve ovo i koliko mi znači tek kada sam, pred užasom ekrana na kojem piše 'Ovaj blog je uklonjen' uhvatila sebe kako u neverici izgovaram 'Ali, ali...to je moj zivot!!!...'. Dobro, da ispadnem previše patetična, ovo moj život odnosilo se i na nestanak Gmaila, ali znate na šta mislim.

I, zaista - hvala. Jedno veliko hvala, prvenstveno mojim fotografima  - Deji, Milici x2, Milanu, Ivani...i svima onima koje sam zlostavljala da me fotkaju:) Dalje, svima onima koje sam upoznala ovde, uživo ili u sajberspejsu, našim blogerima, što su me tako lepo primili u svoj krug. I naravno, onima koji me prate, na razmeni mišljenja. A kada smo već kod onih koje sam upoznala, iskoristiću Milana da prekinem ovu oskarovsku thank you patetiku. 

Muvajući se oko Kineske četvrti sreli smo moju koleginicu sa fakulteta Ivanu, koju nisam videla godinama, i koja se, gle slučajnosti - bavi fotografijom. Nešto sam pričala o ljudima koje sam srela radeći na blogu...? :)

Couple of weeks ago I thought I would have to start like that, from scratch. Without any heads-up or notion given, my blog has just disappeared. Let's get this straight - I did not start all this out of ambition to become someone or something that I'm already not, but from a practical need to have some record of my hobbies and interests, to which I devote most of my free time. Although my relationship with Blogger is in no case a serious one, I realized it was far from a summer fling either. When confronted with a horror of 'This blog has been removed' screen, I realized how much it all meant to me - I even caught myself saying 'But, but...all my life is there!'. I don't want to sound too dramatic, so I'll add that 'all my life' referred to a sudden disappearance of my Gmail account, as well.

So, I have to say one big Thank You. First of all, to my photographers - Dejan, Milica x2, Milan, Ivana...and everyone else I (ab)used as a photographer :) Thanks to everyone I met here, live or somewher in cyberspace, and our bloggers, who made me feel very welcome in their community. And, of course, to my followers - thank you for your opinions shared here, I value them very much. Speaking of people I have met through blogging, I will use Milan to stop this Oscar-worthy Thank You speech.

In a search for a perfect photoshoot location around Chinatown in Novi Sad I stumbled upon my faculty classmate Ivana, whom I haven't seen for ages. She's into photography, you know....Oh, was I saying something about people I met working on my blog?! :)

Poželela sam i Happy New Year, i Happy hangover, a sada je vreme za jedan novogodišnji recap. 

Bez mnogo pompe, bez prevelikih očekivanja, lepo smo se proveli - biti među prijateljima je dovoljno. Kada je o outfitu reč, od struka na gore htela sam Coco, od struka na dole Madonnu circa 1984,  a  ispala sam superheroj. Nadam se da vam se dopada.

I have already wished both Happy New Year, and Happy hangover, and now it's time for a recap.

Without much pomp and expectations, we've spent a great evening - being among friends was truly enough. When it comes to my style intentions - I started as Coco and somewhere from waist down I became Madonna circa 1984. All I got in the end is a superhero, but hope you like it anyway.

Znam da je potpuno politički nekorektno, ali hajde da mrzimo Sandru što je uspela da kupi Versace for H&M panter ogrlicu (inače jedini komad koji mi se svideo iz kolekcije!). Ne samo što je u Hagu uspela da nonšalantno ušeta u lokalni H&M i kupi je, nego još i meni po povratku kaže -  'Što nisi rekla, da sam znala, kupila bih i tebi?'....Arghhhhhhhh.....

I know it's politically incorrect, but let's hate Sandra for getting her claws on that Versace for H&M panther necklace (the only piece I actually liked from the whole collection). Not only did she casually walked in a local H&M store in The Hague but, after she came back,  she had a nerve to ask me - 'Why didn't you say, I could have got one for you, too?'...Arghhhhhhhh.....
