Da ne živimo u Srbiji, sigurno bi mi bila.

Ne znam, nemam ambiciju da pokrećem još jedno pitanje na koje nema, niti pravog, niti jedinstvenog odgovora. Polijte me crvenom farbom, ali mi je licemerno da ignorišem maminu lisicu (ili njene ostatke) u ormaru, kad već nosim isključivo kožnu obuću i povremeno jedem meso. Jeste da mi je na jelovniku samo piletina, ali sam sigurna da te jadne piliće nisu tretirali ništa bolje od životinja uzgajanih zbog krzna.

Istina, ne koriste se u modne svrhe samo životinje iz kontrolisanog uzgoja. Sa druge strane, sigurna sam da ni Kinezi ne obraćaju previše pažnje koliko štete životnoj sredini nanose hemikalije koje koriste u proizvodnji veštačkog krzna.

Dosta pro et contra-isanja, obećala sam sebi, a i vama, da neću ulaziti u ovo. Pripremite crvenu farbu.

I don't really have an ambition of asking yet another question there is not, or at least there is not only one, answer. Splash me with red paint, but I would be a hypocrite to ignore fur from my mother's closet and keep on going with my only-leather-shoes policy. And although I don't eat too much meat, that being poultry exclusively, I'm sure those chickens were not treated with more care than fur-bred animals.

Yes, you're right, this world is unfortunately not a perfect place where they use only animals from controlled sources. Speaking of an imperfect world, I'm sure biggest producers of faux fur, Chinese, do not pay much attention to the environmental effect toxic chemicals used in production process have.

See, this is exactly what I wanted to avoid...pro et contra ad infinitum. Ad nauseum.
