Ova nedelja je nekako za isprobavanje tuđe kože. Opet smo se maskirali, premda, ovoga puta Halloween nije bio povod. Zana meets Lokice na planeti 80s. Možda nismo đuskale u ritmu koji inače slušamo, ali smo se, svakako, dobro zezale :)

This week we tried to walk in other people's shoes. Halloween might be over, but we still got to wear costumes. Zana meets Lokice in the 1980s wonderland.  We might not have danced around to the rhythms we usually listen to, but that didn't stop us from having loooooots of fun :)

Hajde da počnemo otrcanom frazom. Prijatelji, to su oni koji vas vole i kada (vas) ne razumeju. Tako je Tamara bila ubeđena da govorim kineski kada je na New York to-do-listi, dobila Juliana Casablancasa i Margielu. Strokesi su moja stara ljubav i nije me mrzelo da bunarim po raznim forumima u potrazi za Julianovom adresom. Bila prava ili baš i ne, tek, stigla je fotka jedne prosečne njujorške višespratnice (da, da, sa sve požarnim stepeništem i crvenom opekom). Minus Julian :( U iščekivanju novog albuma, ipak volim da zamišljam da vidim Juliana sa gitarom u nekom od prozora. Do tada, uživajte u One Way Trigger, sjajnoj najavi novog Strokes materijala!

Utešna nagrada je stigla u vidu stavke br.2 - ove savršeno jednostavne, a opet jednostavno savršene MM6 Margiela bele končane majice, hvala Tamari x2! Crni ostatak čine omiljeni Mugler vintage dragulj i Bruno Pieters x Weekday pantalone, komadi pokrenutih, zatalasanih formi. Priču o crnom zaključujem DIY Jil Sander kapicom - potrebna vam je samo jedna kapica od Kineza i malo tila, a neko će već bolje od mene objasniti kako se to radi. Malo sjaja za kraj - strašno lepe i jednako strašno neudobne srebrne cipelice, pravi su dokaz da se za lepotu mora trpeti! A kad već pričamo o prijateljima, za sjajan foto/video materijal bili su zaduženi Bole+Srki, hvala!

Let's start this one with an over(ab)used phrase. Friends love you even when they don't understand (you). Speaking of, Tamara must have thought I have gone mad and started talking Chinese when I handed her the New York to-do-list, containing such words as Julian Casablancas and Margiela. The Strokes are my love forever & ever, so I didn't mind browsing through pages and pages of different message boards in search for Julian's address. Being it the real one or not, all I got was a photo of the most generic downtown Manhattan red brick building. No Julian included :( Nevertheless, while waiting for the new album, I like imagining Mr. Casablancas playing his guitar in one of the windows. Until then, enjoy One Way Trigger, this great sneak peak into the new  Strokes material!

Consolation prize came as no.2 off that list - a perfectly simple, yet simply perfect MM6 Margiela white knitted top - thanks to Tamara, times two. Black tectonics of the Mugler vintage jewel worked perfectly with oversize Bruno Pieters x Weekday pants. Speaking of black, the moment I saw this Jil Sander veiled beanie, I knew I had a little DIY-ing to do... All you need is a random black beanie and some veil netting, someone has already tried it at home. I left a bit of shine for the very end - those silver brogues are the key evidence that you have to suffer for beauty - so beautiful, yet so uncomfortable! Speaking of friends, Bole+Srki are the ones responsible for the amazing photo/video material, thanks guys!
